Beautiful Pรฉrigourdine restored by nature, no neighbors. The house is located at a place called Maine Netherlands after a small paved road without exit. This family home has been fully restored by us. You will be charmed by the decoration, comfort and charm. On the ground floor, very large kitchen / dining room, spacious living room with pellet stove, 1 separate WC, 1 bath with walk-in shower and bath, 2 bedrooms, upstairs 2 bedrooms and a bathroom bathroom with shower and toilet. Everything is made for holidays with family or friends. We accept your pet, the garden is fenced.

Summary: The area offers wide range of adventures. Caves, markets, shops, beautiful old villages, stunning scenery. The cottage was well equipped for most of our needs. We do have a few observations. The standing fans were great with the hot weather but the small fan didn't work making one room without window coverings extra warm. A full length mirror would be a nice addition. The downstairs shower was slow to drain. Overall it was the trip of a lifetime and we would not hesitate to recommend

Summary: The house is a renovated stone farmhouse with a great sheltered porch where we ate many outdoor meals, even during the frequent gentle rain showers. The yard and outbuildings are surrounded by woods and farm fields, where we enjoyed watching the Aquitaine Blond cattle the first week. It's 3K from the village of Le Bugue, where there are great weekly markets, boulangeries, restaurants, and a delightful 1900 theme park and canoe livery. We stayed for a month and one thing I'd do differently is clarify from the start what are the expectations about leaving. We spent our last day cleaning and doing laundry only to learn as we left that our host Carol, who'd been otherwise very responsive, expected to be there when we left, and that all the laundry had to be done by professionals. She told us to ignore the leaving instructions on the refrigerator. That would have been helpful to know from the start. But overall, it was a delightful stay and we highly recommend Chez Felicie.

Summary: Our family had a fantastic stay in the farm house Chez Felicie. The farm house is well renewed and comfortable. All rooms were very clean. The location had enough space for my parents in law, my wife, our two daughters and me. Even 2 more people could have stayed there since there are 4 bedrooms. The house is located about 8 min. away from Le Bugue (by car). The surrounding was very calm, no direct neighbours. We only had cows around us which was nice. We enjoyed to sit outside for dinner and breakfast in the big garden and had a nice look over the fields. We also loved the few old pictures of the farmer family who used to live on this farm all their life. A nice gesture of the owner! Thank you Laurence for the great time Chez Felicie! Summary: The farmhouse near Le Bugue afforded us a wonderful rural setting to enjoy the Perigord. From markets to museums to caves, we had a wonderful exploration of the region. Le Bugue and our farmhouse was a great location to visit the beautiful villages along the Vezere and Dordogne Rivers.

Summary: We enjoyed every day of our week stay in this charming renovated farmhouse in Perigord outside Le Bugue. It was comfortable, roomy and nicely decorated. The garden is very large. It was great to have space, privacy and quiet for our group of adults. Would love to return some time!

Summary: We arrived and met by Carol. The property was very good. It accommadated our family group very easily. The kitchen was very well equiped and easy to use. The sofaโ€™s in the lounge were a little uncomfortable as we had a pregnant lady, they were low with very little back support. The bedrooms were very well appointed - one had no hanging space for clothes but we got around that. The two bathrooms were very well fitted and good to use. Overall, our stay was comforatable and better than was expected. There will always be some niggles but they were not enough to put us off booking again.

Summary: We just spent a wonderful week at this cottage set in the countryside near the town of Le Bugue. The cottage was very quaint and clean and so peaceful with only the cows as your neighbors . We did get lost trying to find the cottage but ended up on a farm only to find it was the brother of Pierre the owner who very kindly showed us the way. We also met Mrs Saint Amand who was very friendly and helped us to find a local vet for our dogs passport vaccines. All the shops are near by and there is one large supermarket only 10 minutes away for all your every day needs. All the bigger towns are only around 45 minutes away and worth a visit. If you have any questions or need advice the owners are very helpful and get back to you ASAP. Unfortunately the television didn't have any English speaking channels or a DVD player but having the Internet I was able to connect to the outside world for news. However you can use a USB stick that I was fortunate to have with me to watch movies . I would recommend taking a fan with you as there was no air conditioning or fans for the your comfort at night time. Opening a window was not an option because of the bugs and flies. To be honest the only negative side of this rental was that we were not aware that there would be a charge for electricity or that you have to sign a rental contract that is all in French. This should be made clear on the Owners Direct websites to avoid any confusion or embarrassment. More towels and brighter light bulbs would be helpful please Mr Saint Amand on your next shopping trip. In short this cottage is a wonderful peaceful holiday home for all the family to enjoy.
